Here’s the official preview from The CW:
Christopher (David Sutcliffe) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) take his daughter GiGi (guest star Nicolette Collier) to visit her mother in Paris. Despite severe jet lag, they manage to have a wonderful, romantic time enjoying the city and each other.
Back in Connecticut, Rory (Alexis Bledel) comes to the end of her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Daily News and suddenly finds herself unsure of her future. Her new friends Olivia (Michelle Ongkingo) and Lucy (Krysten Ritter) suggest a trip to Stars Hollow for a girls’ night while Lorelai is out of town. When they return, Rory is surprised to find that Lucy’s new boyfriend is her old friend Marty (guest star Wayne Wilcox), who pretends not to know Rory.
Christopher and Lorelai return home with a surprise for everyone.

I am a huge TV Junky and for the last few years, my obsession has been with (1) finding my own Starrs Hollow and (2) figuring out what Lorelai is doing without Luke.
I am from CT, and now live in the South and have found a place that could be my Starrs Hollow if it had a town green.. Still looking..
Anyway, I believe Lorelai is now haveing, “buyers remorse” when she got back from Paris to the real world and is married to Christopher, where is LUKE? Why isn’t he fighting for her?

Paula - I’d love to know where you’ve found your own Stars Hollow! But I know if you share it’ll grow into a big city, etc. and lose some of its charm perhaps.
You are so right about the buyer’s remorse - that’s a perfect way to put it! I have a feeling we’re going to see Luke fighting for his girl very soon. Here’s hoping!

Историческое прошлое Балакова отслеживается с первой трети восемнадцатого века: в архиве Санкт-Петербурга был обнаружен документ, датированный 1738 годом, в котором упоминается казачье луговое владение Балаков юрт, расположенное в двух верстах от Волги. Приказание о переселенцах императрицы Екатерины Второй от 14 декабря 1762 года положил начало массовому заселению левобережья Волги, и к концу 18 века Балаково представляло из себя волжское село, не знавшее помещичьего землевладения. В 1780 году оно вошло в состав Саратовского наместничества, а в мае 1911 года был подписан Высочайший указ о присвоении Балакову положения города с правами самоуправления.
В 1913 селу Балаково был присвоен статус города. На то время в селе было электрическое освещение центральной улицы, несколько церквей, одну из которых, крупнейший старообрядческий храм России, построили в 1906—1912 гг. братья Мальцевы по проекту архитектора Ф. Шехтеля (автора Ярославского вокзала в Москве).
