The Gilmore’s Meet Luke
Emily Gilmore wants to meet Luke when she calls the Inn and Kirk says she is probalby at her boyfriend Luke’s house. Lorelai heads to Luke’s after the dinner with her mom and tells him all about her mom wanting to meet him. Luke agrees and it is set.
Lorelai and Luke come together at the dinner and she’s shocked that things seem to be going well, after dinner Luke gets a call back at the diner. It’s Lorelai’s dad and he wants a meeting, the two are set to golf. Luke, of course has never golfed in his life, I can only picture how he’ll do.
Rory calls Dean to cancel their date, she’s been kidnapped and brought to a secret society. One of which she was writing a story about and Logan overheard and drug her to it. Rory just walks around aimlessly trying to interview everyone but no one wants to be interviewed. The following day, “Ace” as Logan calls her is ready to go and a bit upset she didn’t get much for her interview. That is until he briefed her on all the traditions.
Luke meets up with Lorelai’s dad and tells him he has no clubs so needs to rent. “No need I’ve got a pair.” They head off, it is evident that Luke can’t golf. He tries saying he reads but doesn’t know any books or authors. Richard asks if he thinks of franchising “Luke’s” and goes on talking about things he can do with it.
The Life and Death Brigade is about to start, Logan surprises Rory with a beautiful dress to wear. They all toast and run off, she’s left with a drink in her hand and watching everyone go crazy. Rory is trying to figure out which event is the big thing that the brigade does. Logan shows her the 7ft jump and she’s floored and says she will not be doing it. Logan convinces her that as a journalist she should do it, otherwise she won’t be able to write about the way it feels. She jumps.
