Luke’s Sis Gets Married
Rory goes on a date with the guy her grandma introduced her to but they end up at a bar and he gets a bunch of guys to join them. Before she knows it they are all drinking and she decides to go, telling him he doesn’t need to drive her or give her money for a cab. Once he is gone she calls Dean to come bail her out. He shows up and they began talking. They spend time together and walk around her campus. But then she asks Dean how he is there with her, without Lindsay asking where he is.
Suddenly Jess shows up, Dean leaves and Jess asks her to go away with him. She explains she can’t do that and doesn’t want to leave with him. He totally wants to go and he’s begging her to leave and explains all the reasons why she needs to go. But all is quiet when she says no and he sadly leaves the room. Rory is in tears on her bed.
Lane answers the door to her mom being there. She comes in and tells them what all needs done before she helps the group. They smile and say they’ll fix the things and go make her tea. Lane is so happy, a smile spreads across her face.
Back at the festival we have Jesse’s mom dancing with her new husband and Lorelai and Luke apologize for getting into a disagreement. Luke asks her to dance and he gently rocks her around the dance floor.
Luke and Jess run in to each other at the house and Jess tells him he wants to pay him back. Jess recites part of the book that Uncle Luke gave him. Luke understands and tells him he’ll always be there for him. They hug and Jess leaves the room.
This was one of the sadest ones for me as I really wanted to see her leave with him. I could only picture how this show would’ve turned out.
