Jess hits the big time

by

I personally wasn’t a Jess fan at all, nothing againt Milo Ventimiglia, but the character of Jess just bothered me. He seemed like too much of a jerk. I did love when he came back last season to shake some sense into Rory, though. Meanwhile, in real life, Milo and Alexis ended their long term relationship 8 months ago. Just before Milo’s career started to soar. He stars in “Rocky Balboa” as Rocky Jr. and he is on the hit TV show “Hereos.” It seems that bad boy persona carries over into real life. USA Today has an interesting interview with him.

Personally, I always thought Jess was the perfect guy for Rory. Interesting that you mentioned Jess coming back to “shake some sense” into Rory. That’s why I always thought Jess was so perfect for her. He could always keep Rory grounded better than anyone else. Dean always seemed to be somewhat in awe of Rory, while Logan came from this spoiled-rich-kid-who-thought-he-could-buy-everything background. Jess was always the realistic type who knew that, if you wanted something you had to go out and work for it.

He WAS a jerk at times but, given his background, it wasn’t hard to see why. My perfect ending to the series would be to see Rory with Jess and Lorelai with Luke, but I doubt the producers will ask me!

I love Jess! I think he would be great for Rory, especially when he got his act together (we’re currently seeing the series when he and Rory kiss even though she is with Logan). I really was rooting for them to get together. And he’s so cute ;) I love Gilmore Girls so it’s awesome to see a blog on here about it :)

I will always hold on to Rory and Jess, especially since he came back and had written a book (hello! perfect for our girl) and had his act much more together.
