Gilmore Girl Recap (March 18)

scott_wbparty.jpgLorelai arrives at Luke’s with Rory and she is ranting about using the word potty instead of bathroom. Lorelai and Luke have just started dating but he won’t flirt with her in front of Rory, or the rest of the town for that matter. She quickly walks over to the register where Luke is and they agree to have a date.

“Hot plates.” Luke says and quickly Lorelai says, “See, he so likes me.” hehe.

Rory is moving her belongings back into the college and instructing the guys not to stain the couch her grandmother bought her. The door’s locked of course and when she opens the door she finds the room empty. She’s shocked Paris isn’t there before her and quickly calls as the guys are bringing in the furniture. Paris tells her Ashford (the professor she was dating) died two weeks ago.

The ladies are gossiping in the middle of town square as Lorelai walks up and hears them all. Lorelai says she’ll see them later but not before a laugh.

Emily has a meeting with her husband to find out who is going to which party, remember they are seperated. She even tells him to take his antique cars and get them done at the filling station.

Marty and Rory are talking when Logan and his group decide to be punks toward Marty but they quickly walk off. Even Rory seems to hate him. Paris runs into Rory and talks about having a wake and stuff for Ashford, seems he left her his manuscripts.

Lorelai is coming out of the house as Luke pulls up, she had no clue they were meeting at her house and not the diner. The two are awkwardly cute together and head over to a nice restaurant, Lorelai tries making up for it by talking. During dinner he takes her to a place she’s never been but he apparently goes a couple of times a week. He ends up telling her whatever this is he is all in and likes her. She discovers he has a horoscope that he kept for over 8 years and it is all about her. Oh how sweet. In bed he tells her to make a list of CDs he needs to buy as he knows he’d never hear the end of it. hehe

Rory has it out with Logan when he runs around the campus looking for a lady and she is trying to place up flyers. The two of them argue about the way he treats and talks to people. He has to go and promoises to remember her name next time. After hanging up all but three posters, Rory heads back to the room where Paris is smoking Ashford’s pipe.

Lorelai and Luke slept together and it is time to get coffee, when Luke doesn’t get up to get some she heads down in his shirt. Only to surprise herself to a room full of customers. eeek. But later it doesn’t seem that anyone notices. The two decide since no one is talking they can go to a town hall meeting just so they can let Rory know the gossip. Course they are floored when the town hall brings up whether they should be together or not. He rips into them though and the two leave the meeting very happy together.

After the wake Marty asks Rory if she has a boyfriend, she responds to having no clue and leaves. A little later she pulls up in front of a two story house, knocks on the door and out walks Dean. Is he back in her life?
