Amy Sherman-Palladino Update

I was really upset when Gilmore creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and husband/writer/producer Dan Palladino left the show at the close of last season. I still have very mixed feelings about the direction of the show without Amy and Dan. But, I am very glad to hear that they aren’t waiting long to jump back to television. Amy is currently working on a pilot for Fox. The show will be a half hour dramedy that centers around two estranged sisters. The sisters reunite when one agrees to carry the other’s baby. (Hmm… sounds like Friends to me!) I can’t wait to see the show since I’m such a huge Amy fan; here’s hoping it gets picked up for midseason!
