Gilmore Girls

The Inn is getting cancellations due to the snow and now they have no coffee and now they just got 10 feet of snow dropped in their driveway from the snow plows. Ugh. Talk about one bad morning.

Christopher visits Rory at school today and invites her for breakfast, only thing is she is still holding that chip on her shoulder and brushes him off. Course Paris was all ready to head on out and eat. Hehe. When Rory walks out of class her dad is waiting with a cup of coffee, he hands it to her and apologizes for everything. He promises he won’t spring himself on her, he hands her all the coffee and walks off. (more…)

Luke goes nuts when he sees a shirt that Lorelai picks up at the town flea market. She has no clue why until Suki explains that it was an ex that just deserted him and he happened to be very serious with her. Now of course she wants to know who the mystery woman is and how she got to the cold Luke.

Later Lorelai takes Rory and friends, Paris, Luis and Madeline to a concert and gives up her ticket to do so. Course this doesn’t stop her from watching her favorite singer, but the seats she get are clear at the top and she can barely see.

In Alexis Bledel’s, aka Rory, upcoming movie, “Traveling Pants 2â€? she actually jumps off a cliff with her pal, America Ferrera. In a recent interview with MTV she talks about the jump. When the group of girls saw a few jumping off a cliff they thought it would make the perfect ending for their movie. Alexis claims it was fun but a bit scary. This isn’t the first time Alexis has taken a jump for the film, keep in mind when she jumped with Matt, aka Logan, on Gilmore Girls.

Have any of you ever jumped off a cliff into water? Now, I’ve never jumped but I have went down a natural water slide that had a large drop into water. I’ll never forget that adrenaline rush.

In the movie the girls return at the age of 19 and are together in Greece for the summer, it’s right before their sophomore year of college. The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants 2 will appear in theaters on August 8, 2009. Will you be headed to the theater?

Lauren Graham, aka Lorelai Gilmore, is currently filming for “The Dream of the Romans” down in Philadelphia, so for those of you out and about that think they are seeing things, it is Lauren. Before ya ask, no Lauren is not seeking help at a Healing Center, it’s actually part of the movie. The movie is due in theaters sometime in 2009. Will you be watching?

Rory gets the honor to tour some possible new recruits for college, only problem is her current girl doesn’t seem interested in the school. She’s only wanting to meet boys, have sex and go to parties. Rory is showing her a book and sniffing it when Logan walks up, “Were you just sniffing that book?” Of course being Logan he gives her a hard time and then walks off.

Rory walks into the local hang out and goes to get coffee for her and Anna when Marty walks up. Anna immediately begins chatting it up with a group of guys which invite her to a party. Rory breaks up the class.

Amy Sherman-Palladino, the creator of “Gilmore Girls” tried her hands at another sitcome, but like Gilmore Girls it came to an end. No, this isn’t our beloved Gilmore Girls but my guess is if it is anything like the writing she’s done in the past, we will surely love it. Her new project is “The Return of Jezebel James,” but many fans will probably not get to watch the show as it didn’t get enough ratings to keep it going. Some say it was the storyline behind it, others stated it was just timing and that it wasn’t Lauren Graham.

Emily Gilmore wants to meet Luke when she calls the Inn and Kirk says she is probalby at her boyfriend Luke’s house. Lorelai heads to Luke’s after the dinner with her mom and tells him all about her mom wanting to meet him. Luke agrees and it is set.

Lorelai and Luke come together at the dinner and she’s shocked that things seem to be going well, after dinner Luke gets a call back at the diner. It’s Lorelai’s dad and he wants a meeting, the two are set to golf. Luke, of course has never golfed in his life, I can only picture how he’ll do.

I certainly hope our Gilmore Girl fans don’t have a Kirk Easter and hide 59 eggs and not have a “detailed map” of where they were hidden. Do you remember this episode? This was in Season 4.

Jackson isn’t taking well to becoming the Man around the Town. Suiki and Lorelai are cooking and getting the Inn ready for visitors, course they are chitchatting about how Lor really feels towards Rory and Dean hanging out together again. Rory is having lunch with her Grandpa and he tells her he’ll miss Friday Night dinner so would like to do lunch. He’s yammering away and Rory is just sitting there listening.

Alexis Bledel showed up at ShoWest in Vegas to promote her big summer movie, “The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2″ at the annual convention for Summer Flicks. Basically all the stars gather together for a big dinner and try promoting their summertime movie.

Lorelai arrives at Luke’s with Rory and she is ranting about using the word potty instead of bathroom. Lorelai and Luke have just started dating but he won’t flirt with her in front of Rory, or the rest of the town for that matter. She quickly walks over to the register where Luke is and they agree to have a date.

“Hot plates.” Luke says and quickly Lorelai says, “See, he so likes me.” hehe.

Rory goes on a date with the guy her grandma introduced her to but they end up at a bar and he gets a bunch of guys to join them. Before she knows it they are all drinking and she decides to go, telling him he doesn’t need to drive her or give her money for a cab. Once he is gone she calls Dean to come bail her out. He shows up and they began talking. They spend time together and walk around her campus. But then she asks Dean how he is there with her, without Lindsay asking where he is.

Gilmore Girls - Seventh Season is on sale for those that didn’t know it wasn’t out already. Most places have the seasons for much higher, however Amazon has season 7 of Gilmore Girls on sale for $19.99 and is marked down from $59.98. In this episode you’ll find out just what happens between the on again, off again Luke and Lorelai. Or maybe you want to watch the birth of Lane’s twins and watch them grow or even the names they pick out. This was a season created without it’s original creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and it shows, at least for hard time Gilmore Girl fans.

Is it possible a “Gilmore Girls Movie” is in the future? While many wondered if there’d ever be a reunion, cast members gave a doubt that there ever would be. Could you imagine, Lorlei and Luke getting married, having a child and then Rory and her getting married or the job of her dreams. You know all those things that were left unanswered for us. Sure, Lor kissed Luke but that was nothing for those of us that were expecting to hear wedding bells. Am I right?
