I’d Rather Be In Philadelphia

The CW has created a Gilmore Girls pop culture game on their site. I think the most interesting thing on the page is T-Mobile’s attempt at creating playlists for the characters on the show. Who really thinks Luke would be listening to “More Than A Feeling” by Boston? (And yes, I know its a great guilty pleasure song). The quiz is kind of fun because you get to watch video clips of the show.

TV Guide reported that starting with this week’s episode, Lauren Graham would be credited as a producer on Gilmore Girls. And they were right. Lauren has made it no secret that she wanted a bigger role in the show in the past, but she was quoted as saying she doubted it would ever happen because Warner Bros, would try to use that as leverage to get an eight season. Sources says this new producing credit will go a long way towards getting Lauren to do another season of Gilmore Girls. But the problem apparently remains with Alexis Bledel and also Scott Patterson. If the spin off rumors are true, Scott could be a huge hold up to that plan. I guess we’ll see how this all pans out over the next few months. I thought it was interesting she was the last producer credited this week, right after our dearly departed Amy Sherman-Palladino.

Lauren Graham rocked the red carpet in a red dress this week for the LA premiere of her new movie, “Because I Said So.” I can’t wait for the movie! And by the way, does anyone else think she looks younger in real life?
