Jess hits the big time
Tuesday, December 26th, 2006I personally wasn’t a Jess fan at all, nothing againt Milo Ventimiglia, but the character of Jess just bothered me. He seemed like too much of a jerk. I did love when he came back last season to shake some sense into Rory, though. Meanwhile, in real life, Milo and Alexis ended their long term relationship 8 months ago. Just before Milo’s career started to soar. He stars in “Rocky Balboa” as Rocky Jr. and he is on the hit TV show “Hereos.” It seems that bad boy persona carries over into real life. USA Today has an interesting interview with him.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year
Monday, December 25th, 2006After the presents are unwrapped, the dinner finished and just about the time the sugar starts to wear off, pop in “Bad Santa” for a good Christmas laugh. If you’ve never seen this movie, and you have a good sense of humor, check it out. It’s hilarious. I will warn you Lorelai fans out there - you might want to avert your eyes for some of Lauren’s scenes with Billy Bob Thornton. Merry Christmas!

Friday, December 22nd, 2006Entertainment Weekly asked Lauren Graham what she would by her character for Christmas. Here’s what she said:
What would you get your character Lorelai?
All that ”As Seen on TV” stuff qualifies for her because that’s very pop culture-y. Also, she has the bananas dog that is so insane, I’m sure he needs something…What would she get you?
She can’t bake, she doesn’t really make anything. The shopping is limited to Le Chat Club, whatever that is, and Doose’s Market. Have we ever seen Lorelai give anybody anything? She could always spring for a weekend at her Dragonfly [Inn].What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever been given?
The last time I answered this question, the person called me up and said, ”I thought you thought that was funny…. But anything to me with a black light is totally great, and I don’t even care what it’s for.

Thursday, December 21st, 2006Marion Ross is joining the cast of “Brothers and Sisters” as Nora’s mother. I love Marion. She is great in everything she is in. Remember her as Trix, Richard’s mother on Gilmore Girls? FANTASTIC. Then she also played Lorelai’s crazy cousin. I’m a Brothers and Sisters fan so I can’t wait to see her on that show, too.

Ausiello: Lorelai and Christopher are going to have a huge falling-out in early ‘07 over a letter. Also, Rory’s going to develop a crush on the hot young economics professor brought in to temporarily replace an ailing Richard. And there will be a death around Episode 13, but not a serious one. In fact, it’s kinda funny.

Wednesday, December 20th, 2006Veronica Mars and Supernatural are now available on iTunes. There is talk of more CW shows making their debut via iTunes, so keep your fingers crossed that Gilmore Girls will be next. Veronica is red hot on iTunes right now, which must be a huge boost for that show to the network, so here’s hoping GG will be the next chosen one to go online.

More than a month! It doesn’t return till January 23. And when it does, the love triangle will continue, as Lorelai gets involved in Luke’s custody battle for April, which could possibly send Christopher off the deep end.
